I got to level 35 a while ago, got beat down, and haven't been back since. I'll go back in a few days.

I'll say this: If you're not using carpenters, you're doing it wrong

I was able to get past the blue dragon without archers or mages. I think I used the alter. I can't get past these brownish guys though. They don't take damage until they 'blossum' once they're in their firing range. Trying different combos of archers and mages, but nothing is working out so far.

Get a buttload (like 100) carpenters and lay into them. I'm on level 30-something now, and it's the same thing over and over again.

Damn...lame. I got 30 carpenters and had hoped I wouldn't need to get more.

Well, lets see what 70 can do.

I just passed the end boss at level 45. With 150 carpenters, he can't best you.

That got really boring after level 35. I played all the way to 56 (just to see the 55 boss) and surprise surprise it was the level 15 boss over again, you only get around 15k for beating him just like the first time. I think whoever created it didn't anticipate people wasting well over an hour playing like I did

I'm at level 44 and feels like I can easily go on forever. The 'biggest' problem is that now I spend approximately half my gold on Import Food.

Found a trick to get a ton of food.. If you have enough carpenters, kill all the dragons till there's 1 left, then just let your boat guys do their thing until you have enough food. That one dragon will just sit there attacking your castle while it gets rebuilt over and over.

Which will be more useful, mages or the altar?

The alter at first, then mages later.
