I'm almost in such a situation at the moment, I can travel for very small amount of money during next 3 months, so I'm trying to choose where to go, as I live in Europe this part of the world doesn't seems so interesting anymore. I'm thinking of Asia and South America

Scandinavia is very nice, but I live too close to it, I can go there by ferry or by plane for some 20$ each way

New Zealand, south island!! Most beautiful, peaceful, friendliest place I've ever been. If you ever get the chance to go, don't hesitate.

I've traveled all over NZ, although I've been there 4 times, if I could be anywhere at this very second it would be in Wellington. I miss it loads.

In the next three months? I'd suggest southern hemisphere for starters.

It's summer in Australia.

Zanzibar and Oman, though apart by distance, are connected historically and by nonstop air service. Both very interesting places.

Sri Lanka is nice.

Thailand can be fun.

Probably Tokyo because airfare to Japan is expensive otherwise and I've always wanted to see it.

You can sneak in from Geneva. Grenoble is about an hour away. We could launch an assault from the north.

I'll bring the cheese.

The free part is onyl the transportation, you still gotta pay for the ticket and stuff! But you have a point... I'd sell a kidney to get there. Hmm, wishing for Norway, I"ll be able to settle down to the Inferno festival, which won't be bad either.

CallMeBlind: $20?! Wow, it's damn cheap. Way cheaper than I thought.

I'd go to Funky Town, wherever it is.

I'm betting the trip there starts with pills and ends in Drugachusettes.
