Question If you could live anywhere in the US with your current conditions/pay, where?

Sign in to disble this ad
If you could transport everything, job, neighbors, house, distance from friends/family, all that, (unless you wanted a change) where would you want to be?

This is assuming exactly everything stays the same, but with a new location around you.

Or, if you could pick a new place to live and change all of it, where would it be?

MUST be in the Continental US.

I like it right here where I am now, but I could live in Portland OR.

Somewhere with seasons and hills and a smaller town. I could leave my neighbors. I enjoyed my time in Columbia, SC. I would consider that area again.

Can we keep our current salary to cost of living/housing ratio? That is the biggest factor in keeping me away from where I want to live.

I already live on the coast in Southern California.

I would consider San Diego, but swell is definitely lacking in the summer.

Probably Savannah, GA or Charleston, SC. These are about the only places that I could still do my job where I would actually want to live right now. Maybe somewhere in southern CA, but not Los Angeles.

Honestly, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Our local economy is exploding right now. This is one of the few metro areas in the nation that seems to be thriving at this point.

I would want a new job, but I really want to move back to Nashville, which I very well may be doing in December.

Moab Utah is pretty cool.

I'd live in Vermont, Montpelier or maybe Burlington. Beautiful country up there, well-defined seasons, good people, too.
