Don't know why exactly.
Maybe I would look more at life and society as an outsider. As in the course of time everything around me would change.
I would be an observer.
The world, society and the mistakes of mankind is an awesome spectacle if you are on the front row. |

With immortality has to come some kind of invulnerability and some minimal living comfort.
And I prefer some anonimity instead of what crimson_basser suggests.
I'd sign on a "Dorian Gray" deal within a heartbeat.
How would that work these days? A JPEG of yourself posted on Photobucket that gets constantly photoshopped? |

For one i would want to be about 28 during this forever time, a good healthy young age, right now i am 20 but i know brian development continues to 25-ish. Also forever is really questionable, what if the plant was completely blown to pieces some how would you just float around in space?
Also would you have needs for food? would you feel hunger pain etc
I would find being able to live like a vampire better. You can die but not from old age. |

Have you ever played a video game with all the cheats enabled so that you have unlimited life/health/money/ammo/time/etc ? Sure, it's fun for a while, but you can't play like that forever. #$!@ gets stale.

I mean eventually you would yearn to not be an outsider and have attachments to people who would age before you and die, and unless you were one stone cold apathetic mutha, you would not be able to handle it. So.....not a chance.
