I want to know what kind of jobs you can get with a Criminology major, not forensics. Please by specific. I'm looking for a non dangerous type of job, I don't want to be a cop. I'm looking for a job that pays well. Just help me out in whatever way you can. Thanks guys.

You do realize that practically all criminology fields are working for the government right? I've heard that the only jobs that actually pay "well" in law enforcement is upper level management, which requires "moving up" from street cop...etc...

I will have my degree in Law & Justice shortly (at the end of the summer) and I can tell you that there's a lot of fun jobs in the criminal justice field that don't involve you having to be a cop.

I know you don't want to do forensics, but I have a part-time job at the city crime lab, and it's a blast! I get to do all the fun parts of cop work without being a cop. I probably won't stay there because of the state's budget, and go into juvenile probation instead. Probation/parole gets a bad rep, but it's pretty dynamic and pays better than must local criminal justice positions.

Some other really cool positions are working in the criminal justice statistics field, or being a victim advocate/victimologist.

No position in the field is going to make you a lot of money though, sorry. The benefits are literally unbeatable though.
