Back about the mid 16th century, the British colonies in North America got sick of paying taxes.
There was a bit of an altercation, some dudes wearing wigs wrote a few documents, and we now go by the good old U.S.A.

As a veteran of war that I am, I can appreciate all the hardships our veterans endured (prior and future) Every night my family wraps themselves in the security blanket of their sacrifices and I am forever in their debt .
