I'll be away from TB for awhile...

Sign in to disble this ad
So I've had some hard times lately in my personal and financial life. I'm currently homeless so my TB time is rather limited as I try and get a job and find a place to live all while going to school full time.

Sorry to those that I've had ongoing trades and F/S stuff lately. I don't have a computer and I can't log into TB on my phone.

I'll be putting a F/S thread up eventually to sell off the gear I haven't yet already.

I hope it is encouraging to know that many of the greats had to do time worrying about where they would be sleeping that night. Good luck bro!

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. The great gear sell off continues and I've got a line on a new apartment so I don't have to crash on an ex's floor. I'm using the computer at school and cookies to log in are blocked on some computers, but I'll be here intermittently.

Status update:

Almost finished clearing out most of my gear. Its just my bass stuff that won't sell, but all the guitar stuff was gone no problem. Go figure. I kept my old SG and my prewar Martin and a guitar amp and a drum kit.

Now to get rid of all my bass stuff.

I've got a place to live but no wifi or amenities like heat and running water. Unless a toilet counts as running water. On the brightside, I got a couple of heat lamps and I don't have to travel very far to get to band practice. I can literally roll out of bed.

Stay strong man, I'd offer some help, but I'm not much better off myself right now. Hope everything works out well for you.
