Today is the day I'll be reinstalling Windows on my computer. All the files I want to keep are on my external hard drive, all essential software is downloaded and ready to be installed, so I'm good to go. See you all on the "other side"!

I have done that several times with my garbage PC. I have to install countless updates when I reinstall... However I am seeing it as inevitable because I might be getting my hands onto some Sonor: Cakewalk program and a fresh start on my cpu

Damn computer's been pissing me off all afternoon. I'm trying to install AVG Antivirus and it seems to be stuck in a startup loop whenever I try to install it. Think I'll run it for a while without antivirus software and see what happens. Still got a boatload of updates from MS to install so I think I'll get on that ASAP. Otherwise so far so good.

Well, as of now the computer is running as it should. I installed Service Pack 3, and the updated are going as planned. More importantly the startup loop has ended. I'll let her sleep for the night, and tomorrow I'll begin installing all the software I have.

Well, one really nice thing I do have to report, and that is the Internet is now lightning fast! I'm loading pages with intense graphics (like MSNBC.com) in what seems like no time at all!

I'm so happy! The Internet the way it was meant to be! Hope it lasts, although I'm a bit skeptical that it will.
