Spoiler below in white:
There are sixteen circles. I only saw the four on the right, before I was told of the full amount.

What's the illusion... ? | Some people only see squares, or in my case, mostly squares.
Looks like I'm a square, or at least 75%.

I think that might have been the case if I just glanced at it - but as the text said "how many circles" - I started off looking for them and I found them right away.

What's the illusion? |
I too saw 16 immediately, and only by squinting can I make them disappear. But i can understand how for some folks my squint is their default, so I understand how/why it's an optical illusion. Or a perceptual illusion. |

I guess my priority is to make sense of the picture, to know how I can place the portrayed ojects.
It looked like carved woodwork in some antique furniture... with that in mind it was hard to notice circles.
Only when I read the OP that there were 16 I knew where to look for them... the only place 16 the same objects could be in that picture.

LOL
No it's not like that.
I just make the choice not to see circles in any given picture.
I admit sexually I like rubenesque women, but I fight the urge not to see circles and curves everywhere to feed my imagination.
Unlike all you perverts. |

What's the illusion... ? | +1. I really tried to make them go away, but they won't disappear. They stand out like Muhammad Ali at a KKK-convention.

The center-right column was the hardest for me to actually see. If you hadn't told me they were there, I never would have found them. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
