Having a little fit with insomnia at the moment, so I figured I'd grab a quick bite. Looked in the fridge.... nothing grabbed my eye. So I looked in the pantry, and my oldest boy stashed a new jar of apple butter in there. Well, my belly isn't rumbling, and the apple butter go'd bye bye.
Talk about good stuff, though. Not that you should really eat it straight from the jar.... but it would have been better if it had made it to the fridge and got nice and cold before I popped the top and killed it.

Two pieces of bread with mustard in between.

lowsound | IMO, still not as bad as a toothpaste sandwich. Now that is desperation.
(On the plus side, you will end up having minty fresh breath all the time though )

-Mike | +1, I always thought that it was a Pennsylvania Dutch sorta thing. I used to get the best I ever tasted around Lancaster and such
