The mess that is the Big 12 this year has convinced me that the Big 8 must be reborn........ But not how it was.
From the start the Big 8 was OU and the Huskers, with an occasional appearance by Colorado.
From the start the SWC was Texas and A&M, with a touch of Tech.
So, here is your NEW BIG 8:
Texas
A&M
Tech
OU
OSU
Nebraska
Colorado
TCU
No divisions, no Championship game to screw up your final rankings. Everybody plays everybody and let's see who's best.
The last one is just for me but it makes sense. The Frogs have the history (National titles, SWC championships, Heisman winners, tons of All-Americans) and have been consistently excellent for 10 years.
All you Baylor, Mizzou, Iowa St, Kansas Polytechnic bums are out!! Go find another conference to screw up!!
