Hey ladies,
So i pulled back into Niagara Falls last night at 11pm after driving 14 1/2 hours from close to Thunder Bay.
Ontario is absolutely HUGE. stupid huge. Like it's damn near a piss off because there is NOTHING in Northern Ontario. A couple of small towns, but other than that it's bears, moose and deer.
Other than that, I had the most incredible time on tour. There isn't a doubt in my mind that Canada is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. If you haven't seen the Rockies, make sure you get out to B.C. to see them at some point before you can't.
Out of the 48 days, we had 38 shows; So i really didn't have a lot of time to do much sight seeing. It was a different city ALMOST every day. Plus some incredible weekend long festivals (so much alcohol...) I've also met the most PHENOMENAL musicians all living out of their van, doing the same thing I was doing, all for the love of the music. People are saying that live music is dying, but it's not. Not even CLOSE. The music industry, i believe is dying, but the people who are doing this are not done ANY time soon.
Anyway, i'm glad to be back home, even though I have to go to school in two days... but i'm looking forward to the American tour we're doing next summer and I hope I'll be able to meet some of you jerks and have some beer.
So now, i'm gonna be modding the crap out of you guys, so look out. |
