I'm home!

Just arrived home an hour or so ago from the hospital. Yesterday had an anterior cervical fusion of C6/C7 and bone spurs removed as well .

I must say my pain is frickin GONE!

I do have pain from the incision in my neck and feel like I have a frog in my throat. I also am an a**hole as I haven't smoked in two days .

I have two fingers with some numbness as well but it is better than pain.

I am very happy with my decision to do it ( so far )

Nice to hear that it was successful. Since you have the first two days down, maybe now is a good time to kick the smokes as well.

Here's to a speedy recovery. Leave the smokes alone if at all possible.

Glad to hear it went ok!

You've got a headstart on most people giving up smoking; don't waste it!

Sounds as if it couldn't have gone better, glad to hear it, and like-wise, break the cig habit, it is of no worth. Take it easy

just to make things easier on yourself, instead of quitting the cigs outright, go read James Hart's e-cig thread. Those things are life savers, man!

Glad to hear that... and yeah, try vaping if you need the cigs. Best bet would probably be to kick the habit all together, but I'm far from an expert on that stuff

Excellent! I have had a couple of spinal surgeries. Had slow recoveries but it was still well worth it. To have immediate major improvement is fantastic.

Best of Luck,
S

Excellent! Glad to hear the operation was a success. Nothing like feeling healthy. Hope you have a speedy recovery and that you continue to forgo the cigs.
