I'm currently living on Hemenway Street in Boston. In case you're not familiar with the area, it's about a 5 minute walk from Fenway Park.
All of the cars on the street have been towed, and we have police patrolling all up and down the street getting ready for the impending riots after the ALCS tonight.
Just one more reason for me to hate the Red Sox.
It's tough being a Rays fan in Boston... As if the last 10 years weren't hard enough.

Just because a sports team loses a game or wins a game it's no reason to destroy property.

I'm a third generation Red Sox fan, "born into it" if you will (though I'm currently living in "enemy territory"). I hate that the actions of a few give a bad name to the rest of us. |

Yeah, right. That's gonna happen.
BTW, keep your head down on March 17th in Boston.
The young'uns like to fight that evening.

lowsound | Nope, soccer is called soccer in the states. Football is what we play with a pigskin and goalposts, and touchdowns and all that. Soccer is called soccer. I think we were under the impression that soccer is called futbol in other countries.

I heard a car got torched down near Fenway, though, but I didn't see it.

| Doesn't it make a whole lot more sense to call Soccer Football? You don't use your hands, you KICK a ball around all day with your FOOT.
American football, you throw a ball around with your HANDS tackle people with your HANDS....only 1 guy on the whole team uses his foot to hit the ball.
I say we Americans give up both the foot(metrics are way better...*** base 12) and football. |
