But London has better taste in music than NYC. It's true . Dude Stops People Wearing Headphones To Ask What They
Lady Gaga could not redeem them unfortunately .

Music isn't so much judged by talent more than press in this country.

It looks like there was a video attached, which I'm unable to view on this computer, but just reviewing the playlists, I don't think there's enough there to say who has better taste or even whether there's a cultural element there or not. It's just a random mix of artists and songs. |

Seriously. I hate to admit it, but it's true.
I've wandered into venues in the States and seen quality playing that you would almost never see here. Sure, there are some crap musicians in both countries but we seem to have more of those than you do.
And Kwesi - wrong forum, dude!

Based on my scanning of the NME, which has a long history of proclaiming a new "Best Band in the History of Ever!!!" pretty much every week, I would conclude that your contention doesn't hold water, Kwesi. Also, the music scene in the UK has historically often seemed more fashion-driven than in the US.

Not a single song in any of my playlists is listed there, shame on them. |

As far as I'm concerned, there is a good bit of bunk on both sides.
