I'm surfing TB at a bar. Is that sad?

It's two dollar Tuesday at Fox N Hound.
I'm off tomorrow and none of my friends could be bothered to make it out for a few pints, so here I am with my e-friends reading wattage and building the GAS for a new head.

The problem with surfing at the bar... there's no one here to watch my laptop when I go to the pisser.

I feel kinda pathetic for drinking alone while surfing the internet. Not that it's the first time.

On an unrelated topic, they just played Nirvana's "unplugged" cover of Man Who Sold The World.

Two observations here, I definitely hear distortion... not at all unplugged.
And it's been years since I heard this song, but I still know exactly when the feedback comes in.

I did it a few times with a smartphone, and it wasn't even mine. So basically, I've done worse.

Knowing that my boner probably would not be resolved by any of the women there, there's a good chance that if you ever find me in a strip club I'll be just playing with my phone and nodding along to the music, lol .

turbochicken: It was the one at skillman and audelia in Dallas.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only person who has done this.

If it makes the situation any different, I've been to this bar a hundred times and there is NEVER any decent tail. Most people are considerably older than me and the only cute girls I've ever seen in here are the waitresses... and my waitress wasn't even cute this time.

Not sad at all, I run a pub and I spend most of my time on the computer in the bar, surfing TB.

Mind you, it's to get away from the mind-numbing conversation with the regular bar flies...
