I've got my lifeguard and surf buddies texting me saying the surf is going off. It is. Here's the report. Quote:
Looks fun...., this is David with the report for Friday afternoon at 12noon.
SURF:
3-5 ft. - waist to head highwith occasional 6 ft. and fair-good conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Seeing plenty of fun waves this afternoon as the fog has lifted and conditions have cleaned up with just a bit of lump and bump to the surface. Shape is nice and peaky with fun Rs and Ls to pick off, its a pretty consistent waist-shoulder-head high with some + peaks at times. Tide is dropping to a .7' low at 7pm.
| I surfed yesterday and it was hollow overhead a-frame peaks. Amazing stuff.
However, I'm supposed to go to happy hour TGIF with my teaching coworkers. I really could use a beer. We'll pretty much be done by dark, but then it will be too late to surf. I'll be surfing in the morning, but I have my son's soccer game at 11. I'll have to get up at 6am. Ride my bike down to the beach. Be in the water by 7am. Surf until 10am. Be home by 10:45am. Get him to the game by 11am.
Damn. What to do? What to do? What to do? Drink or surf? |
