I was tasked with writing a "back to school" postcard. While brainstorming the designer and I came up with two bogus but funny ideas. We quickly put them together and slipped them in the pile of serious ideas for the Art Director, who we thought had a great sense of humor.
Evidently not. While it was obvious to US that they were jokes, it was not obvious to her and she took our ideas seriously (I still can't see how you COULD take them seriously) and at first she sent me a very polite rejection email and I thought she was being funny. Luckily I didn't respond with humor because the designer came rushing over to let me know she WAS serious, and that she had included our ideas in the job jacket. I'm glad she didn't present them to the client!
Anyway, here they are for you to enjoy. I guess not everyone has my sense of humor!
