So many people waste way too much money on going to a big school right off the bat. Teachers say it, responsible adults say it, and smart students say it: "Go to community college first, unless you want to waste a boat load of money".
My first year of college (community college) is costing less than a third of what a year at a state school costs, and it's the exact same education. Just with smaller class sizes, cooler teachers and much less homework. Oh, and my parents still pay for some of my meals, I live rent free, and have a solid job. Am also in a gigging band!
