Can anyone recommend an inexpensive photo editor? All I really want to do is crop pictures of my band. Thanks, Jon

You would open the photo file and look at the tool bar across the top for 'Open'. Click on that and look for 'Paint', then click on that. You'll see all of the available tool buttons and you can do what is needed.

If you change your mind and decide that you do need more powerful and free image editing software... http://www.gimp.org/

This is photoshop but it's free and fully supported by a very active community. Might be a bit more than you're looking for but it's every bit as powerful as photoshop without the price.
Try Picasa if you just need something basic. It's free and fully supported by Google |

It's not the free software that infected you, it was the choice of download source. |

IrfanView is excellent, simple, and free. Crop, rotate, resize, color correct.... It does a lot more, but the extra features never get in the way. Best image viewer evar!
