Interesting new alternative to Paypal: Amazon payments

For as long as I can remember, paypal has been the only viable p2p anonymous wire transfer service. I've seen several attempts to supplant it fail hard.

However, this seems far more promising. Amazon has the capital to not get stuck borrowing from Peter to pay Paul, they have instant name recognition and a fair level of trust built up, and a seemingly superior service (no fees or limitations on what you can use the service to purchase).

Anyone used this yet?

Amazon Payments have been around a little while now. Another forum I frequent uses them a lot for personal transactions. I like it very much so far.

Was I correct in saying that there are no fees associated with transferring or purchasing? I got that impression from perusing the FAQ but want to double check.
