Internet Radios

I'm thinking about getting one of the internet radios below.

http://www.jr.com/category/audio/radios/n/4294605977/

So far, I'm leaning towards either the CCrane, the Tangent Quattro or the Wolverine.

Here's a video of the Wolverine. The narrator's English is a bit hard to understand at times.

Here's the Tangent Quattro.

Does anyone have any of these radios or another radio that might not be listed here?

What do you like/dislike about your radio?

Any comments appreciated.

Mike

I've got a couple of Roku Soundbridges. In addition to radio they will pull songs from you computer running iTunes or Windows Media. They work great, but they don't have internal speakers.

They also do a radio model which does have the speakers but I've not tried it.

Wouldn't it make more sense to connect your laptop to your amplifier with a $6 cable? It's much more versatile.

Unless you don't have a laptop, I guess....

Just a thought.

Only if you want to have your laptop in the living room/kitchen/bedroom etc, have the space to have it open, and don't mind getting up to poke around with a trackpad to operate it.

The units I've got are small and insconspicuous but have a nice bright VFD display, so you can read the displayed track info from across the room. There's no hard disk or fan so they're TOTALLY silent, and are operated by a remote from the sofa.

Before I got mine I "protoyped" the system using a laptop, and while I LOVED streaming everything, it was totally impractical to use it on a daily basis in the surroundings it was in.
