I think there were something like 30 tablet computers/iPad competitors announced at Computex last week. The Android tablets will probably eventually provide the best competition much like Android phones have caught up with the iPhone.

seriously though.. My Acer Timeline laptop with Win7 gets about 9hrs on a charge.
The real prob with that machine is Atom processor + too small battery.
