iPhone screen repair?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello,

today, I dropped my iPhone once and the screen protector thing shattered. The actual screen works and so I'm using it now as I don't have any pc. So forgive any mistakes as everyone knows some phone try to correct words but that doesn't always work and so on. Anyways, mine is hacked and so I know apple won't be helping me. Would a local apple shop repair it if I pay them knowing it's hacked? Or is it untouchable to them? I can't restore it because as I said I have no pc and can't get all my stuff back. If they won't touch it? What big name stores could repair it? Thanks everyone, I'd love some ideas.

is it just tempered glass? could you have a place custom cut it? How thick is the glass? How about this?

Thanks but that'd be very difficult. I'm thinking about ordering the parts and doing it myself

Any non apple place will fix it even if its jailbroken/hacked. My dad broke my brother's iPhone at the start of the year because he was mad at him. My brother sent it in and $88 and a week later he had a working iPhone, but it wasn't that the screen was cracked, it was that only part of the screen worked. Amazing little thing, was thrown straight down on granite and then stepped on a few times and the screen didn't crack. (knock on wood, as I have one) I do not know if it voids the warranty, but its jailbroken so that doesn't matter.
