And pretty darn amazing.

I do have to admit though, I wish they'd do codenames with this like they do the full sized OS. Instead of using cats, they should use rodents, or other pocket-sized critters?

Fieldmouse? Hamster? Anyone with me?

Plug into iTunes, and when it's done Syncing go to the info tab, and click check for updates.

You get way too excited about Mac stuff. You need to check out girls, they are way more exciting.

LOL, I won't deny it. I'm a Mac geek.

As far as the girls... you do notice sometimes when I'm NOT posting, right?

a coworker was all excited about updating his iPhone earlier... it locked up (bricked he called it) Now he has to restore then update... and will loose all his game data (plays baseball and driving games all the time).

If he sync'ed his data regularly, he should be restoring to a backup no older than a few days.

I have not updated yet, but I will when the frenzy dies down. Have you tried the new voice notes?

Surprisingly good quality... I wish the interface were a little different, but I like it.

Is there a limit to how long the recording can be? If the quality and range are good, this would be a great tool for recording lectures.

If there is a way to restore it using software and without replacing hardware parts, then it's not bricked. "Bricked" is when the only use left for a device is, well, as a brick. I don't care about anything Apple but I just had to clarify that, this highly technical and scientific term has been misused a lot lately.

Not to mention that an actual bricked ipod isn't hard to fix. You don't even need any extra software. My itouch bricked on me a few times when I was jailbreaking it, wasn't hard to fix.

maybe he didn't bother sync'ing none Apple game app 'data'... it is just a phone He's a VoIP Operations Engineer like me... and a good one so I've know doubt he did whatever he needed to do.

I was an Apple Zealot at one point in time... worked for the Mothership even. I just can't get into the product lines any more

Woot.com found some "bugs"

3. Turned on adult content filter but everybody in my videos still has their clothes on.
4. Adding a task to calendar did not result in task getting done.
5. Clicked this blue "compass" icon but kept getting some stupid web browser.
6. Still no apps to cure the nagging feeling that I should've bought a Palm Pre.
7. The touchscreen is now on the back of the phone instead of the front.
8. Gone to the bathroom four times already today, and Remote Wipe hasn't worked once.
9. Spotlight search crashed with memory overload error trying to index my Harry Potter cosplay photo collection.
10. Tried out tethering, but I think I broke my finger smacking that phone around the pole.
11. Apple still hasn't fixed the no-hardware-keyboard bug.
12. "Cut" function does not apply to monthly AT&T bill.
