Hey guys
Been trying to update my ipod OS to the latest (version 4.0.2) but I'm getting halfway through the download and it stops and spits out an error - err = -3259
Tried about 3 times, also tried it with the firewall and the antivirus disabled, and also made sure that iTunes was accepted through the firewall.
Also, I've hunted through google and Apple support but it says that error code is an itunes store error and I'm not using itunes store, just trying to update.
The answer on the page tells me to update to the latest version of ipod software haha! Irony
My iTunes is on the current version.
Will my ipod still operate properly if I don't update it? If not, how do I get around this issue? Is it possible to use a wifi connection that's at work or something to download the update straight to my ipod? I don't know how to do that but if it's possible that might work.
Any ideas how I can get around the problem?
