Ipod Sync Question

Alright, well I recently crashed my Macbook but everything is fine now. Everything got fixed and I even got Leopard for free. The thing is that my old Itunes library got obliterated and now I have to put the music on my Ipod onto my newly configured Macbook. When I want to sync the Ipod it says that the information on the new Itunes which has absolutely nothing is going to replace the information on my Ipod. How do I do it in reverse? I want to put the music from my Ipod onto the Macbook. Thank you.

You need. Senuti. It's Itunes spelled backwards. It's a free app and it works great. Download and install it.
Plug in your ipod.
iTunes might launch automatically, but you just ignore the request to sync to library and all that. Instead launch Senuti, define the folder you want to upload to, and upload your ipod library to to it. Then take all the songs and drag them into your iTunes library.
Once they are in your library delete the files out of your Senuti folder.

I use ephpod myself. It's very simple to use.

Or I send an E-mail to Apple asking to redownload all my songs and watch them get all pissy.

Anyone know why iTunes always mixes up my internet favorites, everytime I sync???

I should guess I should try one of those other aps??

Well what I did was plugged the ipod in, opened it in a window and copy and pasted the music to a file.

hey maki, i try and drag and drop the files but it won't go into the itunes library. all the songs show up on the senuti window but i'm not to sure as to how i upload the songs. i press transfer and nothing happens. thanks for the help!

Go to preferences and check what you have set for your upload folder. They'll be in there. You also have to select those you want to upload. Select them and press the arrow. If you want to upload all of them, command + a, and then press the arrow.

i just did it today and for some reason i'm getting some volume loss between the uploaded files and the original intact files in the senuti folder. hmmmmm

Did you add them back into iTunes?

hehehe i only had the itunes volume up like halfway and senuti was full blast. my bad. thanks maki that program was great.
