iPod Touch/Phone application question

Sign in to disble this ad
I've got to read quite a few books for one of my university classes, and many of them are in .pdf format. Is there any application out there that I can get (I have an iPod Touch) that will allow me to store and read .pdf's on my iPod?

I'm thinking probably not, but thought I'd ask anyway.

Thanks!

You're awesome. That looks like it'll do the trick perfectly.

Thanks a lot!

Actually, I found a free alternative that looks quite similar. Not that $5 will break the bank, but free is better.

What is the alternative?
Does it integrate with the safari browser?

Have you had any luck finding a flash player?

Thanks

The alternative is called "Files Lite" and is a service similar to the one that fokof linked, so it doesn't integrate with a browser, it just wirelessly transfers the files and lets you read them off of the player. Or something like that. I'm not good with the technical details.

No luck on the flash player, sadly. I'd really like one of those, too.

There's no flash for iPhone. I use airshare for PDF. It was free when I got it but I think they are charging for it now.

Yeah, when I went to the store, they wanted $4.99 for it.

The program I got was a free version, although it only allows for the storage of 200MB of stuff. But I'm only using this for PDF files right now, so it's no big deal.
