I don't know what IRC is. But because I go on www.bash.org, i think it's a chat of some sort.

And we do have a chat!

BUMP!
resurrecting an old topic i'm interested in...
I personally idle on #bassplayer on the EfNet IRC server.

for those who are lost...
Internet Relay Chat
# means Channel
so #bassplayer is Channel Bassplayer basically...
EfNet is a network, conglomeration of a bunch of different servers you can log on to that are all connected together to allow everyone connected to all of these servers to see each other in a channel...

so... there's always a handful of folks in there, not always talking much, but sometimes we do. i'd like to see more folks idle in #bassplayer someday! as for how to use irc, google it or get the MIRC client program, it's -fairly- straightforward and has a good help file.

oh, i just thought, there are java web based irc clients out there too that would make it perfectly possible for TB or someone to create a link to a web based client. http://www.efnet.org/ itself even has a web client. web clients may not be as easy to idle in but are convenient!

Yeah, I've been idling there for a few months too. There are usually 5-10 people there, lots of action for such a small channel.

The moar, the bettah!

If you're planning to use mIRC, you just need to type in /server irc.efnet.org -j #bassplayer

From there, I can help you with whatever in mIRC is bothering you. ...or you could try something like ChatZilla on Firefox or XChat or whatever.

Hey Mark, I just registered. Just so you know the labels on the registration page don't show up at all on my Gateway LCD monitor. I had to highlight them to see what belonged to what field. They were sketchy on my laptop screen too.

You might want to pick another (lighter) color for the labels on that page (maybe white or even the yellow/red the other pages have). Cool lookin site though.
