iTouch apps not working... help?

Sign in to disble this ad
So I got my iTouch on Christmas and quickly got a few apps that were suggested on another TB thread that were free(this is probably is the key). Anyways, they worked fine at first but recently none of them have been working. What happens is I`ll click on the app and it`ll pop up for a split second as if it was working or attempting to turn on and then it`ll immediately shut off and go back to the app screen.

Any ideas? It really sucks when even the 'just a light' app isn`t working

Hmm, not yet. I`ll give that a try and report back.

Although now that I think about it, I did turn it off one night to conserve battery and I believe ever since that night the apps haven`t been working.

You Touch apps? How perverse...
lol :P I have always been annoyed when people call it the "iTouch".

In all seriousness, I would also recommend a reset. When you turned it off that night, did you have it plugged in? I found my old iPod Video behaved slightly odd when I turned it back on after having left it off for awhile, not plugged in. But that also had a hard drive so that could have something to do with that...

All I can recommend is a reset, if that doesn't help, contact Apple.

....maybe I should have said "uTouch apps?" heheh I'm a riot...

I've had this happen on my iPhone a couple of times and found out it's pretty common.

You can do 1 of 2 things...

* Delete an app then re-download it or
* Update a current app

That should fix the problem. It happened to me again a week later and I updated an app, now it's been about a year without any troubles.

Hope that helps!
