Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi got married yesterday!
Ellen (known for her talkshow, comedyshow, stand-up comedy and her coming out ('Yep, I'm gay!') and Portia (from Ally McBeal and Arrested Development and recently nip/tuck) are easily about everyones (especially gay people) favourite lesbian couple  
It's one of the first official, legal lesbian marriages getting a lot of media attention which should be a great step toward getting it legal in the rest of the USA and the world
