It's hard to get people to RSVP to anything.

I try to get casual baseball games set up every weekend.

I try to be detailed about all the event information. I give them contact information. Times, locations, equipment availability, etc. I let them know of the event long before it happens, and I give a reminder the day before. I try not to pester.

What I would like is for people to tell me if they're going to show up or not. I can't seem to do that for some reason.

Most people just don't respond at all. Some tell me they can't or won't make it, which I appreciate. A lot of people say maybe, which ends up as not showing up.

However, I get so many people that say yes, and then they never show up and never give me the word. They act all excited about it, and then nothing. I would like for them to let me know that somethings come up or something

All I want is an RSVP! And if something came up, tell me! I dislike having 15 people say they're coming and only 3 show up. It discourages practically everybody that shows up not to show up.

Rant over. I want some flan.

People don't like to feel tied down to something when something better might pop up later.
