I feel sorry for whomever has to let that cat out of the machine.

I bathed my cat regularly by hand for the first few months we had her. She took it alright, and now she actually likes water (just not being submerged). Once we were able to get the fleas out of the house we stopped bathing her, she doesnt need it, she keeps herslef quite clean (with the exception of that one time she got into the curry powder).

I have a dog thankfully. But my roommates cat requires 2 full grown men to wash.

I havent. Maybe you should try another method? Is yours an indoor cat? Most cats don't really need to be bathed, they generally do a good job keeping themselves clean. Generally.

Yeah I was just joking. My cat keeps himself clean, although when he was a kitten we had to give him bathes. He just meowed lightly. Now he even hangs out in the sink and doesn't mind getting wet to do it.

My old cat though was different. When she was little, she also needed to be cleaned. The way my parents did this was to turn on the shower, throw the cat in and slide the door shut quick. Not unlike the video. They only did this once.

Thats how my cat is too. We bathed her a few times as a kitten to get rid of the fleas and she took a liking to water. Not full on getting soaked, but she hang out by the sink when I wash dishes and sits on the edge of the tub playing with the water when my girl takes a bath.

It's also a disgustingly dim-witted display of insensitivity towards the perceptions & feelings of a high-strung animal like a cat.

No rational feline lover would subject their pet to such needless trauma.

Anything for buck, eh?..

Meh, you don't need a machine.

Not my cat, but this is about how we bathe the smelly barn cat that has a big cut on him and he needs to spend the night inside.

I have to agree here, but at the same time, it was really funny to watch.

I think it's senseless torture to just stick a cat in a machine that sprays water everywhere like that. I would never subject my animals to something so stressful.
I can't imagine that machine would do a very good job cleaning the cat either. You need to rub shampoo deep into the fur and then thoroughly rinse it off. A machine really can't do that very well.

Also, I would be concerned with the cat getting water in it's ears.
