Maki, you'd think with your salary as a gym teacher, you'd have better taste in booze.

I'm sure your gym class plays lots of kickball.

It reminds me of Fosters. I find the flavor hard to enjoy. I would describe it as ROUGH Like most beers of this caliber, it tastes best when just above freezing.........to prevent any flavor bouquet from releasing If I want to tie on a buzz, I'd rather drink a shot of something along with a more refined beer

Funny... Thats the only way I'll drink Heinekin. I never knew why, but that was the only way I'd enjoy it.

I'm guessing Maki buys this because its the only thing available from the Asian Market that gets him drunk.

Generally, the better the beer or the better the beer is made, the better it tastes as it warms up. Some beers are great at room temperature. That's why cheap keg beer tastes OK when the keg is sitting in ice water and you drink each glass before it warms up Back in my beer days, Genesee or Falstaff tasted GREAT, ice cold from the keg on a hot day.

I like room temperature Paulaner and Killians, but I don't think they classify as high quality beers.

Paulaner is a well made great beer. Killians is an artificially flavored, force cabonated, rice and sorghum brewed nasty beer just like most of the Coors and AH products

Maki won it in his Spurs vs. Lakers bet. IIRC, his beer of choice is Sierra Nevada.

Paulaner is a world class brewery. Killians is swill. Little baby yeast cry when you use them in the same sentence.

I like Killians, and I never knew Paulaner was considered world class. I just like the way it tastes.

All my other friends give me sh!t for drinking Killians too.

Maybe it tastes good because its victory beer and when I was drinking it I watched the Lakers beat the Celtics.

Or perhaps I am not a proud man.
