It's REALLY hot in Minnesota! (105 degrees)

For all you folks who think it never gets hot up here, think again. Right now, at this moment in St. Paul, it's 105 degrees!

Unbelievable!

It's only 99 here. I bet the lake is keeping us cool.

Exactly what I was going to ask. I'll take 105 and dry over 95 and humid any day.

Yeah, but your forecast shows 80 tomorrow, so it's a temporary anomaly. You can relax.

In Dallas we'll be at 97-99+ degrees through mid-September.....which sucks.

I went to college in St Paul and I have never missed Minnesota's summers or winters. I don't actually miss much of anything about Minnesota, thought the 7th St. Entry was always fun.

did anyone else lose power last night?

it was brutal--we don't have AC, but without fans either, it was really uncomfortable...i was sweating just laying on the floor (bed was too hot). Every breeze coming through the window was like paradise!

Oops, failed to consider you guys don't have A/C. My bad - that would be brutal. In Texas, we LIVE in A/C for the Summer - kinda like you guys live in heating all winter.

...pfft...

I left Orlando because it would be 98-99 and NINETY PERCENT HUMIDITY every day for 6 months straight, every year...

...and just because I'm either really tough or really stupid (or more likely BOTH) I spent 7 years without a/c in either my house or car there...

...buncha pansies...don't got a clue about miserable.

It was almost 80 last weekend. Now in the mid 60's with drizzle and rain showers. Yay Washington!
