I've got swine flu

This is not a joke post.!!!

Last week I was diagnosed with swine flu. It is only a mild attack but nevertheless it does stop you doing anything and you have to be quarentined untill you are better.

I think I will be over it in the next couple of days so will be able to go out then.

If there are a lot of us TBer's who have swine flu perhaps a support thread would be in order. I do say this with some degree of hesitency because of course people have died from it so it is not something to be insensitive about.

Perhaps a mod. could make a ruling on this and say if it if inappropriate or not.

I think I have the swine flu too,.... everytime I sneeze it smells like bacon........ All joking aside, I hope you get better soon bro.

I had it too, a few months ago. Couldn't move over the weekend.

I did try and practice but was too wiped out to do it, and I only had a mild attack. For those that get it bad it must be terrible

An actual case of the flu is the worst ever. You have no strength...I had to crawl to get to the bathroom. I slid back to the couch.

that aside, ive never had it, but my mom got quarantined in china for a few days (she currently lives there). oddly enough, it was because someone on her plane from chicago had it, and not because of some outbreak in the densely populated cities of china. anyway, she didnt have it, but the chinese government doesnt mess around with that kind of stuff. im not sure what policies are in place in other nations.
