And I need it cut. Where can I go? I don't think I know anyone that does it themselves.

Don't have to really be a genius, superb craftsman or anything, and the tools are pretty cheap. Just try to measure it out. You'll be happy you did, because things like this may come in handy later on.

I've had a few sanding blocks for various mini-projects around the house but they always end up disappearing into our mysterious black hole of a garage. If I get another I'll make sure to put it in my personal toolkit.

But what makes it non-ideal for a normal saw? What should I use to cut it instead?

Didn't really look like what Ikea had, but eh, I haven't seen raw particle board in ages. I'm not really sure what my dad used it for, as all his projects were usually made from his favorite wood - Oak.

-Mike | Ikea has special everything. Some of their silverware looks "futuristic" (made for alien hands) and they have special little tools to put together their furniture (like the septagonic alan keys and the like).
I bought a few things from them, but I gotta say. Really, the silverware. And the sparkling wine-like apple soda. And the chocolate. And the tools they sell that are shaped funny. And the Swedish names for everything. Sometimes I get freaked out going to Ikea.
No offense to the Swedish, of course.
