This is storm, high winds and rain... No!!! super dupper heavy rain appreciation thread...

And the good news is that it's going to pick up!!!! Winds are 25 gusting out to 40mph right now (gusting every 2 seconds too, I love it!!!)... tomorrow looks to be better, winds picking up and adding some awesomeness of lightning!!!!!! I might skip work tomorrow to go play in the rain!!! sooo much fun!!!!

I hope winds pick up, this is weakpoo!!! I need more storm!!! It be cool if nature adds an earthquake to this... oh man would that be AWESOME!!!

But, if you're nature, you won't be able to drink beer.

I hate the wind, but LOVE the rain. Glad to see it's actually happening.

psh...

unfortunately, where I live, we never get any storms. Whilst it is pouring, gusting, and generally wreaking havoc upon the rest of this fine state, I am currently baring witness to partly cloudy skies and a light drizzle.

I surfed this morning. It was stormy and a lot of fun. Just me and my buddy and 10 foot surf.

First round of the storm was a good one. Up here in the mountains we were without electricity for just about 24 hours. I was honestly surprised they got it back on that quickly. But that's life in the mtns and that's why we have a generator (though it don't get me 'net access...).
Big trees down all over, all roads into and out of our area were blocked. Made getting home from work a chore yesterday.
All part of Mama Nature's thing.
Kserg, I might consider that beer rain thing, though, but the waterfalls would get awfully frothy...

Also, I LOVE storms too! Every kind of storm is awesome, but I think a sand storm would SUCK.
