Japanese Beetles

So I walk out back to grab a smoke, and there's this mass orgy of Japanese Beetles going on, literally. I see a bunch of couples doing the humpty hump, and even scoped out a couple of threesomes.

I don't get these bugs, and why they haven't died out. They reproduce only to have them fly around, land on their backs and die.

I didn't want to mess up their mood.

However, I did get out a tiny CD player and threw on some Luther Vandross for the love-fest.

The whole point of life is to reproduce and expand your species. Technically, life's just Grow → Reproduce → Die. Why? I don't have a freakin clue! Guess it's just the law of nature

I saw the Filipino Fab Four perform on a cruise ship a while back. The guy that played John Lennon sounded exactly like him. They were an awesome act actually.....

I like when the stupid little bastids fly into my bug zapper. They actually burst into flames sometimes. They have to be the dumbest, most useless critter God ever created Besides our Florida Love Bugs

Florida doesn't have a monopoly on love bugs. We have more than our share of them in South Louisiana.

I guess the Japanese Beetles, as useless and dumb as they are, are good at screwing and reproducing.

So this morning, I go out back for a smoke, and I see a bunch of dead beetles on their backs where the orgy once was. I guess the sex must have been real good.
