So I take it you're a Bourne fan? I am as well, but I grew up on Bond. Sure, an amnesiac uber-weapon is cool, and nailin Franka Potente gets you a ton of points,

But Bond is a suave mofo, has coooooooool gadgets and cars for days, the backing of Parliament, and...well, look at all the Bond babes. Eva Green. PURE WIN.

I'm going with Bourne ... since there were a couple of sad Bond's.

Now if it's Daniel Craig, as Bond ... I gotta say, it just might be a close call.
(he also can kill guys with pens & books; jump like a monkey too )

If we're talking strictly hand-to-hand then this is how I break it down:

Sean Connery Bond v Bourne: Bourne Wins (but it's a close call when Connery realizes that the penis mightier than the sword)

George Lazenby Bond v Bourne: Bourne wins

Roger Moore Bond v Bourne: Bourne wins

Timothy Dalton Bond v Bourne: I hesitate to even acknowledge Dalton as Bond but...Bourne wins again

Pierce Brosnan Bond v Bourne: Bourne

Daniel Crag Bond v Bourne: Craig not only wins but he steals Bourne's girlfriend

Sorry, Mr. Ripley, the most recent Bond will wipe the floor with you.

bc

I say Bourne because I like the story line about losing his memory that goes along with everything.

I agree with everyone who said, before Daniel Craig, Bourne could probably take all five Bonds together at the same time. Bourne versus Daniel Craig's Bond however, too close to call. I mean, anyone who can shock his own heart and bring himself out of cardiac arrest, and then go on to win a multi-million dollar poker game that same evening, is a pretty tough nut to crack.

Bourne moves pretty fast though. If it crosses too many borders, I'd have to give the edge to Bourne.

The only Bonds that could take Bourne are Connery and Craig. Dalton potentially if he had better writers, <voice=laughing>but I seriously doubt it.</voice>

Sidebar: Dalton is a great actor who just got stuck with a bunch of crappy films

i've always felt this way too. imo timothy dalton is not what is wrong with license to kill. (the living daylights is awesome)

besides, he was the closest to ian fleming's bond than any of the others until daniel craig came along.
