There are security holes in almost anything. There happens to be an article on a high-profile website about one in JAVA. The next version of it will patch this security hole. Hackers spend their time trying to find exploits. They'll find another one. The cycle will repeat itself.
This applies to almost everything. Banks spend billions towards secure software and even they get hacked occasionally.
In order for the security hole to be used, you'd have to navigate to a specific site or download software designed to take advantage of it. The chances of that occurring are pretty slim, too. |
