That has to sting Chi fans. Ouch!

I wouldn't go that far yet. Perhaps he'll bounce back next season.

I'm not really a Bears fan, but it's a little early for that kind of call.

By the way, where's the video of you burning your Favre jersey? I was looking forward to that!

FAVRE!

You throwing out that pedestrian take so that you can take your mind off Bretty Boy shoving it up your A$$ for a 3rd time this season?

Stay focused Packer fans, you still are what we think you are.

Let's see how he does next season. Kinda sad to see Kyle Orton playing better than Cutler though Cutler needs someone to throw to though, as we don't really have any good WR's.

Hehe....Jeff George. I remember when he signed with the Seahawks, but never played a game.

Dude had a cannon for an arm. He made Elway look like a JV backup.

I'm a Bears fan and I want him gone in the worst way.

The Bears don't even play Bears football anymore, thanks Jay.

WHAT!!!! I'm sorry, but Hester, Knox, Olson......all top notch!

Cutler is also Top knotch as he proved in Denver.

You clearly haven't been watching the O-line letting Cutler get smashed every other play. The dude can barely take a 2 step drop without getting tagged.

What worked in 84 isn't going to work now.

Before we bury Cutler let's give him an OL, WRs and coaches that are even half as good as he had in Denver.

Oh yeah, a running game would help a lot, too.

Cutler is not the Bears' biggest problem. Not even close. Actually I kinda feel sorry for the guy... that team is a total cluster.

+ 1,000,000

It's kind of hard to make decent passes when you only have about 1.2 seconds before you get buried by a pile of defensive linemen.

Frankly I'm surprised Cutler has survived the season in one piece. There is not a single guy on that Bears O-Line good enough to start for any other team in the league. Seriously.

For those of you old enough to remember Archie Manning Sr., I see that being a lot more apt comparison for Cutler than Jeff George. I.e., a very talented QB doomed to mediocrity (or worse) on a perpetually bad team. The Bears aren't getting better anytime soon, and I say that as a fan. It's the painful truth.

As a life long Detroit Lions fan I resent this remark!

Yeah... you can go ahead and keep Cutler. We're cool with Orton over here. Also, you can't have Brandon Marshall either.

Yeah and the way we're sleepwalking through the end of the season, you guys will wind up with nice position on that 1st rounder, too.

You're welcome.

Cutler was top notch in Denver? Didn't he have a losing record?

Well he threw for over 4,500 yards last year and made the Pro Bowl (which arguably, may not have happened if Tom Brady hadn't been out for the year). OTOH his team totally collapsed (especially their defense), they lost a bunch of late season games and missed the playoffs. So it really depends on how you choose to evaluate a QB... by stats, or wins.
