Jazz fans?
 

I've recently picked up the bass though I've been playing the guitar for over six years. I came across Scott bass lessons through this forum and in his recommended listening he recommends hard hat area. So I downloaded it - but it made no sense to me at all! The music didn't feel right and the notes just seemed so... out of place. What am I not getting here?
