Sign in to disble this ad

Just wanted to say thank you to Nigel Turner (a.k.a. Nig) for posting me some Jelly Babies and Smarties from the U.K......I was having a jones for them...

got through customs without a hitch, and only took 7 days to make it to my door....Thanks again Mate

wow did you guys know one American dollar is only worth .49p in the U.K.?

so in the end 4 packags on candy cost me $30.00 U.S.

but worth it in my book....Happy Fathers day to me....lol

wow! I couldn't imagine life without jelly babies! Man I feel bad for you guys!!

my chemistry teacher always does the oxidation of sugar practical with a jelly baby, because she likes the way they scream.

unfortunately they arrived around 2:00 p.m.and sat in a black mailbox in the 95 F degree Texas summer until i arrived home from San Antonio around 8:00 p.m. the Smarties did not melt however the jelly babies turned into one big jelly baby in the shape of the bag...lol I stuck them in the fridge and ended up cutting the one big jelly baby into bite-sized pieces in order to eat them...lol

Thanks again mate! thanks for restoring my faith in mankind....lol

oops i forgot about the transaction fee you want me to pay pal you another quid or so? I did round up to an even 15.00 pounds

I always stock up on English candy (sweets) when I go back there. Smarties, jelly babies, wine gums, pastels, and Black Magic chocolate.

Ah ha!! So these are the famous Jelly Babies that the Fab Four used to lament about when they got here to the States eh? The US fans got it all mixed up and thought they were speaking about jelly beans.. So at the American shows, the girls would hurl the misunderstood HARD candy beans at the boys as they played.. That didn't go over very well.
