A Mexican Roofing Saw, not uncommon. Nothing like stepping on it when you're 3 floors up

No! I'm serious. Never a ground wire either. They use them for everything. Most of them CANNOT use a traditional circular saw with the frame and guard. They use those open saws for trimming the shingles on the edge of a roof, cutting in on sheetrock for boxes, cutting PVC .........EVERYTHING you can imagine!!!

That is just a waste of time and a perfectly good circular saw blade. They sell cutting wheels for angle grinders that will cut just about anything.
