If it helps, the kid who murdered my fiancee's cousin in a barfight over which team was better got 25 years. Her cousin was the bouncer who was trying to break the fight up, he got stabbed.

BART IS a combination subway/ street grade/ elevated system. So its not a subway in the traditional sense. IIRC the station where the shooting occurred was an elevated station.
