California-based singer songwriter; replaced Dave Guard in the Kingston Trio in 1961.

Great songwriter. 600 songs, including 'Daydream Believer.' 45 albums. Dang.

You scared me man! I knew something was up when it wasn't spelt Jon Stewart, but still...

No offense to this other man, but I am not really familiar with John Stewart, I guess that is my own ignorance.

Sorry to hear that. My folks had Kingston Trio records when I was a kid. I still enjoy hearing their tunes. He will be missed.
