I'm trying to understand this.
These guys, Lights Over Paris, have been spamming CL looking for band members: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/ant...169866338.html
They have a youtube video which shows them in a studio 'recording' which he states they have been there for 5 months and will be there for two more? It is their first album? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CF5oA8mxDMU
He walks around the studio describing things which he doesn't know anything about. What music studio would put this kind of money up for these guys? Were they in another band that was really big? Are they independantly wealthy?
I'm having trouble understanding this...

I'm even more confused now that I have visited their website. This reminds me of a (somewhat chubby) woman (with delusion of grandeur) who keeps spamming the quebec kijiji asking for an established full band of pros with touring gear (van included please) to play bars on the weekends.

Tour gear and live show equipment is already provided, but any additional pro gear is always acceptable.
So they have two tour buses? Pretty amazing. can someone from cali vouch for these guys? Are they already famous or from other bands? Maybe they were on american idol?
Looking at the studio site, this might be a commercial for them? The guy is walking around the studio talking about "our" and "mine" so I'm thinking he might own a part of it or work for them? http://www.lasoundgallery.com/credits.html
I'm not sure lights over paris should be lumped in with these other names? lol
It looks like the guy "Matt" who is in the video seems to own the studio--maybe they are friends? Sitting around a studio of that caliber must be super expensive right?
