Somewhere in between.
It's not gonna be wild, but it's gonna get a Clifford Performance 4.9 inline six(like the one pictured below), disc brakes up front, and more modern wheels and tires. I'm planning to use it as a gig vehicle.

What a great find. It will take a LOT of work but you could have a real beauty when finished. Please post your progress.

There's one of those near my house. I've never known what it was till now, but I've always marveled at its awesomeness.

It looks very complete, very straight and I don't seen any rust through spots. Great find!!!

GIG VEHICLE? That thing is awesome. And with that engine, sick-reliable. Almost daily driver worthy, if not for gas prices.

I cannot WAIT to see this done.

I love the fact that you're doing something completely different in the powerplant department and I'm sure the price of gas has a lot to do with that decision.

If it were mine and I had the money to burn, I'd drop a 572 in that thing! Definitely subscribed to this thread.

OMF! 418ft-lbs of torque? I have a 300 in my truck but it only has a 1bbl carb, Edelbrock intake though.

A perfect gig-mobile, awesome! You win!
