Awesome! First house, and we're doing painting in preparation for moving in. It's going to be an awesome place!

Do I need to say it?

NO pics no house

YOU KNOW THE RULES.

Yes, all of us that bought our first house dealt with the
'Now I have a house, I moved in and we are having pizza
while sitting on the floor' syndrome.

Good work, it only gets better from here.

Edit: Chunk beat me to it. Get Out The Camera.

WHAT? Are you an idiot? In this economy?

No, I am kidding. Very cool. When is the official move in day?

The interior is painted the same as mine, the tan with white trim. Do yourself a favor, and paint those ugly veneer doors white as well....you'll be surprised the difference. I was going to replace mine until I saw it. Man, that's a nice place....congrats.

BTW, anyone know a good place to get a TV like that one reasonably well priced? I'm thinking 48", plasma or LCD, preferably 1080 capable.

Bestbuy usually has some awesome new years sales going on this time of the year.

Oh and btw, I LOVE that kitchen. I wish all of my appliances were Stainless Steel.

Best of luck with the new home.

Yeah, man. The appliances are awesome. The bad news? They took the washer/dryer and fridge with them. The good news? I bought a new fridge to match the other stuff, and I have a good washer/dryer in my old place. They're white, so I am going to have to come up with a tasteful way to hid them.

Bummer about the washer and dryer. If they're top loading you could always consider buying the foux stainless steel film so they at least kind of match the rest. Either way that's a bomb ass kitchen.

Stainless film? linky? I can't wait to make some culinary creations in that kitchen. Then chill in my jacuzzi tub.

Nice house. In this economy, if you have the money, it is the perfect time. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you save based on what a house like that was worth a year and a half ago?
